Introduction
Sometimes you need to show content of your iPad or iPhone to your audience. With AirServer you can wirelessly beam your iPad display to your Mac or PC and from there to your projector, smart board or HDTV.
Download and Installation
Download the software at http://www.airserver.com/Download and install it via the wizard. There is a 7-days trial version and the license is about 15$. After the installation, the tool is ready to use. There is not much to configure. But one property is recommended to set: The password. In the notification area on your desktop, make a right click on the AirServer icon and choose Settings. In the general area, you are able to define a Password.
Share your screen
The tool is now ready to use. Pre condition for sharing screens is that iPad and notebook use the same wireless network. On the iPad, you are now able to select the AirServer in the AirPlay:
After choosing the AirServer, the user needs to key in the Password (if set in the AirServer settings). On the notebook, AirServer displays automatically the screen:
